Ettore Sottsass
Ettore Sottsass was an Italian architect and designer. His work was dedicated to the creation of furniture, jewelry, glass, lamps, objects for the home and office, as well as the design of many buildings and interiors. He has been awarded numerous international prizes and was the winner of the Compasso d'Oro ADI Award in 1959. His works are exhibited in the permanent collections of many museums around the world such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Center G Pompidou in Paris and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
